Giselle Niemand’s Whirlwind October: Germany, Paris and Seoul
Johannesburg, South Africa – Giselle Niemand is about to embark on what could be one of the busiest international schedules of her young career.
The 16-year-old South African artist will leave the country next week for Germany before heading to France for Paris Fashion Week and then flying to South Korea for an international music festival.
Giselle, who works across music, acting, modelling and dance, will be part of the Africa In Paris showcase from 2 to 4 October 2026.
The showcase is presented by Africa Fashion Week in collaboration with Noir Fashion Week Paris and will feature African fashion talent in the French capital.
Giselle will walk for New Romantics Couture, the South African fashion house that secured an international showcase opportunity following its success at Africa Fashion Week last year.
There will be little time to rest after Paris.
On 5 October, Giselle will travel to Seoul, where she is scheduled to perform at the 2026 Itaewon World Music Spirit Festival.
She is expected to arrive in South Korea on the same day and move directly into preparations for her festival appearance.
The invitation came after organisers reviewed her submitted performance material during the festival’s preliminary screening process. She will perform alongside artists from various countries.
The festival will provide accommodation, sightseeing and a VIP package featuring Korean beauty and food products, while her performance is expected to be filmed for international distribution.
The journey follows Giselle’s previous international experiences, including performances in the United States and United Arab Emirates and an appearance at New York Fashion Week.
Three countries, two industries and one 16-year-old artist will make October an unusually international chapter in Giselle Niemand’s career.
