Cremo Announces Third Studio Album, The Vault

Dutch-born Puntlander artist, songwriter, and record producer Cremo unveils his third studio album, featuring longtime collaborators Tyler Griffin and Tony Tig.
AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS — Mohamed Waberi, professionally known as Cremo, is an independent artist, songwriter, and record producer of Puntlander origin. Born in The Hague, the Netherlands, in 1992, Cremo has lived in London since 2006. His journey bridges his East African heritage and European upbringing, reflecting a commitment to artistic expression, cultural identity, and creative independence.
Born in 1992, Cremo belongs to a generation whose wider community has been shaped by conflict, displacement, resilience, and the pursuit of opportunity. The Puntlander diaspora has established communities across Europe and North America while maintaining enduring connections to its ancestral homeland.
Rediscovering His Roots
Cremo’s evolving identity is closely connected to his rediscovery of Puntland, a region in northeastern Africa that established its autonomous administration in 1998. This connection has inspired him to explore his heritage and visit the land of his ancestors, drawing on the historical associations of the ancient Land of Punt and the region’s broader cultural legacy.
Now entering a new chapter in his personal and artistic journey, Cremo embraces his identity as a Dutch-born Puntlander with The Vault, his third studio album, released through Cervani Records, part of Cervani Music Group.
Entirely produced by Cremo, The Vault showcases his production abilities and commitment to maintaining creative control over his music. He co-wrote the album’s songs, with the exception of “SuperStar.” The project features singles including “SuperStar” and “Feel Your Love.”
A Longstanding Creative Partnership

“Feel Your Love” features New Jersey rapper Tyler Griffin, a longtime collaborator who has worked with Cremo since his debut album. Their creative partnership dates back to 2021 and encompasses releases including “Destiny,” “Literally,” and “Join the Movement.”
The collaboration continued with “K F C” in 2022, followed by “By Far,” “Silence,” and “Tomorrow” in 2023, culminating in “Feel Your Love” in 2025.
Tony Tig also appears on The Vault, marking the second collaboration between Cremo and the artist. Their previous collaboration, “Winter’s Coming,” appeared on Cremo’s second LP, K F C 2.
The two reunite on “I’m Soaring,” a West Coast-inspired track featuring chord progressions inspired by Scott Storch and drum programming influenced by Dr. Dre. The track brings together distinctive elements of hip-hop production while reflecting Cremo’s own approach behind the boards.
Building an Independent Musical Legacy
Cremo’s previous releases include the 2021 EP You Know My Name, Not My Story, followed by K F C in 2022 and K F C 2 in 2023.
With The Vault, Cremo continues expanding his independent catalogue while developing a lasting creative enterprise through Cervani Records and Cervani Music Group.
For Cremo, the album represents more than another musical release. It marks the continuation of an artistic journey shaped by European upbringing, Puntlander heritage, longstanding creative partnerships, and the ambition to build an independent legacy on his own terms.
